CEMENT TEA (BRAZIL)

Cement Tea is a Brazilian music producer that produces industrialised, harsh and aggressive styles of Techno, Drum & Bass, Hardcore Techno, Ambient, IDM, Breakcore and Speedcore. His style is characterised by a range of influences from animated television shows and video games, often sampling them in his tracks.

Cement Tea alias started as a Hardcore Techno and Industrial project, but expanded to be multi-genre. He had previously produced different styles under a range of other aliases (IDM & Ambient as Unicode Dreamer, Drum & Bass as Triple Discharge etc) but many of these previous projects have been discontinued in favour of Cement Tea. While previous aliases of the artist for other genres have also been stylistically different, many of the genre's that he has produced under previous aliases have been accumulated by and continued under the Cement Tea alias, but in the industrialised style of Cement Tea.

The producer's first ever album was in 2016 as Unicode Dreamer, titled 'My Addiction'. Starting off with IDM, ambient and breaks by releasing this album, he later expanded to other genres. His alias Cement Tea had it's first release in 2017 on Viral Conspiracy records with the album titular album 'Cement Tea'. After this he had a number of follow up albums on the Viral Conspiracy label and a few other netlabels, before branching out to other genres.

In 2018 he had releases on Deathsoundbat Recordings including his album Ultimatum, which built his connections to Russian Drum and Bass. He would later with OZ1 to release a collaboration EP on Sir Vixx's Mobcore Chicago Records. He has also collaborated with other Russian producers such as Circular Discharge and VolTRusH.

In 2019 he released one of his biggest projects to date on Fujimi Industry Records, the Megane LP. This album is notable for it's vast genre variation and a remix album which includes producers such as Syprexa, Crime1minister, Coakira and CDR, as well as the track Tooshio Tooshio Tooshio which would later be remixed by The 3Eyed. Later that year, he had his first ever Record Label release on Enduser and NLIC's Sonicterror Recordings with his album 'Wrapped In Despair'.

DEP AFFECT [[THIRD MOVEMENT / INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH / RIOT! / TRIPALIUM / INDUSTRIAL PROPAGANDA / DARK DESCENT / HAUNTED / KALLKÄLLAN / GENOSHA]]

Dep Affect has been busy with hardcore since 2006, with numerous vinyl and digital releases on labels like The Third Movement, Industrial Strength Records, Industrial Propaganda Records, Dark Descent and Genosha Records with The Outside Agency.
With the techno undercurrent growing stronger in each release, he teamed up with 14anger for a number of rave techno releases; and has also been dishing out plenty of solo doom techno including a recent vinyl release on Riot Radio Records. These EPs have received support from DJs like Dave Clarke, Rebekah, Tommy Four Seven, Umwelt and Minimum Syndicat.

With an aesthetic somewhere between rave and doom, Dep Affect is a strange mix of heavy grooves, brain twisting sounds and a cheerful (if slightly apocalyptic) vibe.

SPEEDLOADER (all vinyl) [[TEKNO MULISHA / VIRUS / AKA / GABBER SOCIETY]]

DJ Speedloader has been scaring punters since 1991, creating havoc and smiles all round with his unique blend of hardcore and hard industrial tekno. Known mainly for exceeding the speed limits for, well, almost everything, and leaving a mass of sweating and exhausted people in his wake. After destroying crowds in Canberra, Sydney and across Australia, since moving to Melbourne he has been a resident at such hard music icons as Virus, AKA, Gabber Society, and for the last 10 years as part of the Tekno Mulisha crew- as well as guest spots at some fairly dodgy underground gigs here and interstate! See why they still let this old bastard behind a set of decks and sweat it out with some of the hardest tunes of the last 29 years.

ENCRYPTER (live set) (IRELAND) [[RHYTHMIC SHIFT / SEQ ARP]]

Encrypter is a hardware-focused composer and producer of tough electronic music. He has been obsessed with texture and processing recorded sound since he was a teenager, capturing field recordings on his walkman as fodder for creating garbled noisescapes through cheap guitar effects. Since these early days, he has released ambient, downtempo, industrial hardcore, glitched-up jungle, splittercore and a variety of unique takes on techno through his original works and remixes for the likes of Myler, Diarmaid O Meara and Weever. His Power Struggle EP on Industrial Strength Records and previous output on Motormouth Records has seen international support from the likes of The Outside Agency, Innovative, Stormtrooper, The Relic, Dep Affect, X-core and Ragnarok.

Encrypter’s DJ sets often bring together the many genres he has worked in - industrial, glitch, techno, old-school rave, electronica and jungle - a mix of synthesised and sampled sounds, focusing on an atmospheric blend of deep textures and spaces alongside rave stabs, drones and breaks over punishing, heavy, constantly evolving drum timbres. As a founding member of the Untz and Pressure events, he pushed hardcore on Irish crowds for almost a decade and supported the likes of Detest, Stormtrooper, N-Vitral, Djipe and DJ Rush. His time is currently spent running the left-field techno event Rhythmic Shift and the hardware techno label SEQ ARP Records.

For this event Encrypter will be playing original hardcore performed with live hardware.
